Heart-to-Heart
I named my artwork "Heart-to-Heart" embodies a visual exploration of Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3) - Good Health and Well-being, focusing on combating heart diseases, which rank among the world's top health challenges.
Central to the piece is the heart, symbolizing the emphasis on cardiovascular health. This heart serves as a large puzzle, surrounded by small individuals and medical personnel (scale and proportion) diligently engaged in prevention measures and treatment such as exercising, medical check-up, blood donating and etc.
Continuation is evident as each figure seamlessly connects to the heart, illustrating the connection of actions towards heart wellness. The background, adorned in contrast between green, represents vitality and growth with red heart. Within this backdrop, the neurons symbolizes the nature of human biology and the importance of our DNA in health endeavors. Through this artwork, I aim to convey the message that daily life effort is essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Each figure and element (small puzzles) plays a vital role in the broader narrative of cardiovascular health, build up the significance of individual actions in the pursuit of well-being.

What have I learnt in this module?
Reflecting on this module, I have gained valuable insights and experiences that have contributed to my growth as a learner and individual. Firstly, I have learned a great deal about the importance of design principles in creating impactful and effective artwork. Understanding concepts such as composition, balance, and visual hierarchy has enhanced my ability to convey ideas visually. Besides, I also learnt about UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly focusing on Goal 3 - Good Health and Well-being as what I have chosen.I really gained meaningful concept of designing is not just about creativity but there are principles to serve as a guideline to craft out a detailed and fruitful art piece.
What did I enjoy the most?
One aspect of this module that I particularly enjoyed was the opportunity to re-apply different techniques and tools, such as Adobe Illustrator, to my creative projects. Experimenting with these tools allowed me to expand my skill set and unleash my creativity in new ways. I gradually enjoyed he opportunity to craft an conduct on so many informative designs not just abstract but meaningful artwork to advocate the essence of SDG Goal 3. It was incredibly fulfilling to apply my knowledge of design principles to create a visual representation of such an important topic. Exploring different artistic techniques and mediums allowed me to express my creativity while also raising awareness about crucial health issues.
What did I not enjoy the most?
However, I found that the workload at times felt overwhelming, especially when balancing short semester assignments with other commitments which is Assistant Public Relations of Taylor's Orientation Leaders to designs post for social media. Through this module, I have learned more about my strengths and areas for improvement as a learner. I discovered that I thrive in environments where I can apply practical skills and engage in hands-on learning experiences. Additionally, I realized the importance of seeking support and feedback from peers and instructors to enhance my learning process as I felt very satisfied and delighted when Mr. Zeon and my peers Can Yi and Zhao yi agreed on my work. I also discovered that I am passionate about using art as a means of activism and raising awareness about important global issue instead of handicraft or 3D-Model.
What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
In terms of changes in my learning journey, I have become more confident in my abilities to tackle creative challenges and problem-solve effectively. However, I recognize that there is still room for growth, particularly in refining my time management skills and seeking out opportunities for continuous learning and improvement.
