LECTURE: INTRO TO AFTER EFFECT

Adobe After Effects is a 2.5D animation software used for animation, visual effects, and motion picture compositing. 


This software is used in the post-production phase, and has hundreds of effects that can be used to manipulate imagery. This allows you to combine layers of video and images into the same scene.

PRACTICAL: AFTER EFFECTS EXERCISE

1. Visit this link to download the PSD composition.
2. Open Adobe After Effects and import the W10_ANIMATE.psd.
3. Set the composition to 1080 pixels for width and 1920 pixels for height, with a duration of 15 seconds.
4. Use Position (P), Scale (S), and Masking path to create a keyframe animation for the layers.
5. Render output: MP4 or Quicktime (.MOV)
6. Add the workout on your YouTube channel.
7. Post an update to your E-Portfolio blog with your progress and video. 
8. Include a link to your e-portfolio with this submission.
